We brought our own breakfast and it turned out great, even though the first night we had no coffee or coffee maker; we also cooked steaks we brought, and although there was no microwave to bake the potatoes, the meal was still awesome. The first night was memorable and definitely not forgettable. The bed was incredibly comfortable. After a long day of fishing, I entered the bathroom to shower and realized the water wasn’t filling the tub—only about an inch after a few minutes—so I walked out to tell my husband and stepped into a puddle. He discovered the drain wasn’t installed, so all the water leaked under the floor and out wherever it could escape. We called for help and finally got someone to investigate. When they realized the issue couldn’t be fixed, the staff arranged for a place where I could shower with hot water, which was a relief. We slept that night in the room and they were kind enough to find us another one. It was my husband’s birthday, and we laughed that this would be a memorable night. Everyone was very friendly, and we left with a wonderful memory.
