The porch offered a nice river view and I mostly stayed alone, which let me unwind. The climate control was managed off-site, so the room stayed relatively warm during the day for a Mississippi summer, which is a problem for me because I’m chronically anemic and usually feel cold. One night the thermostat read 75° while it was 85° outside—absurd. If that hadn’t happened, I’d give it a 10/10. Also, there was a mix‑up with the booking stating no prepayment was required, yet the property demanded immediate payment, which was annoying. I only use booking because I don’t want to prepay, so fix that or adjust the listing.
