“Decepcionante”

The room was very pretty and the dinner was quite tasty, but we didn’t like the reception when we arrived. The lady who attended us seemed to scold us because she hadn’t seen our booking on Booking, told us the spa was empty and that we’d have to fill it again, and rushed us to choose dinner while snorting if we asked about items they didn’t have (you have to decide what you’ll eat before 19h or you won’t dine). The next day another woman was much nicer and more polite. The spa was just a jacuzzi, a sauna that was more of a warm room—no sweating at all—, and a “Scottish shower” that gave only 3 seconds of cool water. We had never seen a place where you have to pay extra for breakfast or dinner on the terrace. On top of that, it was full of stray cats and we watched from inside as a cat peed from the ceiling onto a table while we were eating. I don’t usually post negative reviews, but we found the stay so unpleasant that I would have preferred to know these things beforehand.

The accommodation overall is very pretty, respectful of the environment, with careful décor and charming corners; the rooms are comfortable and clean, and both the pool and spa are perfect. I also appreciate the information sent about hiking routes in the area. I didn’t like that, after we had a confirmed reservation that couldn’t be cancelled or modified, we received more than seven long WhatsApp messages with house rules, operating procedures, prohibitions, schedules, etc.—in my opinion too strict, inflexible, and unnecessary. I also didn’t like the staff’s treatment, which was unkind, distant, and excessively serious with us. I also didn’t like that the ground‑floor bathroom near the pool and spa was locked. When breakfast offered orange juice, I asked if it was natural, they said yes and brought a brick one. With so few resources for tourists in the town, they should have let us enjoy the accommodation and its facilities more, being generally more flexible, with fewer rules, prohibitions, or restrictions. Above all, the staff should have been kinder and more empathetic to their guests.

“Relajante”

We loved the spa and the excellent food; it was a very pleasant stay. There’s nothing to point out. We will definitely return ☺️
