“Overall, the stay was disappointing.”
I booked this place for my husband, but I couldn’t make it because of a family funeral, so this is his review. Breakfast was decent, and the location was fine. The building is old and needs some updates; the elevator was out of order at one point. The chaise lounge in my room was missing cushions, and the other rooms I stayed in had shower problems—one had no curtain, another had a broken shower. The staff were sympathetic but didn’t do much once we told them about the issues.
The bathrooms in the rooms need remodeling; the tubs are very old and the caulking is badly discolored.
“Look for a different hotel”
The front desk was polite, and housekeeping refreshed the room after the first night. The bathroom was disgusting—walls were patched and peeling, and it looked moldy from the shower. I couldn’t believe they rented out that room.
“Reception not welcoming. They very much do not take pride in hospitality.”
The location is good. The carpeting in the elevator and hallways is filthy; I have photos if you want to see them.
“Good location for an overnight stay. Beds very comfy and a good breakfast in the morning.”
