“Ne venez pas là”
The bed was fine and the room stayed quiet, but there was a stale, damp, mouldy smell in both the bedroom and the bathroom that lingered even with the fan running almost nonstop for the whole 10‑day stay. The room was only partly clean. Skip the breakfast – it was the most expensive meal I had in Bali for almost nothing, and I didn’t even get a drink twice. They claim there’s a restaurant, but it was a flop; the menu looked tempting, yet on my first night I was told they only served nasi goreng, the lights were off and no one came to take orders. I can’t see how they rate it as having service when there was none. There’s a tiny kitchen and fridge by the pool, but the fridge happened to be broken. All in all, this was the biggest let‑down of my month in Bali.
