Really a very nice property with very friendly and attentive hosts. The location, however, didn’t appeal to us. The walk to the city of Essaouira was too long and rather unappealing. For a next visit we’d try to find accommodation directly in the city.

We spent 3 absolutely wonderful days at Jean Luc and Antoinette’s riad. Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, kindness, generosity, and attention to the smallest details. You feel at home right away. The riad is magnificent, calm, and ideally located to fully enjoy the stay and the Essaouira region. We recommend it with closed eyes and will return with great pleasure! Thanks again for everything.

We really appreciated the quiet of the place, the beauty of the riad, the welcome and kindness of hosts Antoinette and Jean‑Luc, not to mention the lovely Manar and Lahcen who are always ready to help; we loved Manar’s cooking. Nothing to add.

Lovely spot just outside Essaouira. By car it takes 15 minutes. Jean‑Luc and Antoinette are very friendly hosts. Even though it was a bit harder for us to communicate with them— we don’t speak French and they speak little English—we thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality. In the morning a delicious, extensive breakfast. The rooms are nice and modern. The beds were good!

A beautiful Riad, well kept, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The outdoor area with the pool and the Beldi tent is especially lovely, perfect for a few days of relaxation in a very quiet setting. The Riad is located in a small village, which makes it very peaceful, but the drive is a bit awkward because the roads leading to it are in poor condition with many potholes. You can walk about 10 minutes to the village entrance or take a taxi, though the ride might be slightly more expensive because of the road quality.
