Magnificent view, good breakfast, lovely room with the right comfort. The place is perfect for hiking in the mountains. I didn’t stay longer (but that’s my fault).
The best hotel in Cabo Verde. It was spotless and has an excellent location with views of the square. The breakfast was very good, with natural juice and cachupa.

We appreciated the location and the excellent breakfast on the covered rooftop terrace, and we were able to check in earlier than usual; however, security was a concern—the front door downstairs was left wide open, there was no security staff, no one at reception, and the lounge door was also open, allowing strangers into the hallway with the guest rooms, the room lock was very simple and could be forced easily, we didn’t feel unsafe and nothing happened but I wouldn’t leave valuables in the room, there were no pillow covers—perhaps because we arrived unexpectedly early—and one of the bedside lamps was missing both its shade and bulb.

The rooms are very spacious with private bathrooms, located in the center of Assomada, opposite the market. The furniture is a bit old but functional. The pedestrian street is very quiet at night, while the market’s bustle during the day is the most interesting part of the area. Breakfast is included in a buffet style, with katxupa, eggs, linguiça, and some cold cuts and cheese. Good. The terrace views from the breakfast area are nice. Value for money is very good. There was a little mix‑up with the reservation, but they resolved it, so everything is fine. The hotel is on the fourth floor without an elevator. It wasn’t a problem for us, but others might need to consider that. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t reach some rooms well.
