I was very pleased with my room and pleasantly surprised to discover a public bath on the top floor. They supplied all the clothing and toiletries needed for a relaxing night, such as facial masks, bath salts, a blue kimono, and a dark outfit to wear to the public bath with sandals. Breakfast was free and mainly offered coffee and three types of pastries, which was sufficient. There were also free drinks in the lobby and water in the room. The location was great, close to shops and restaurants on the main road and within a 6‑minute walk from Karasuma subway station. The staff were very helpful, always smiling and greeting me upon arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in a Japanese‑style room. I used the onsen during my stay and loved it; the best time to use it is in the morning. The room can feel small for long stays and offers little luggage space if two people share it.

“Für eine Nacht durchaus eine Option.”

The bathroom was spacious and the bedroom large. The staff were very friendly and picked us up from the garage because we didn’t speak Japanese and couldn’t check in by phone. A Japanese friend handled our registration. Breakfast arrived promptly at the door. It feels a bit odd to be locked in. There is a machine where you must pay, unfortunately only in Japanese, which made it hard to understand everything. The bed was a bit firm, and the area was very unattractive.

The building is clean, with ample and comfortable space. The location is somewhat inconvenient, about a 20‑minute walk to the subway, next to the highway interchange.

“良い宿泊でした”

The room was surprisingly spacious and luxurious for the price, and the front desk staff were excellent. Breakfast felt authentic and satisfying, and the only issue was a slight dust spot, which was completely acceptable.
