“Convenient spot, comfy room”
Being right on the edge of the old town made catching a bus or taxi super easy, and the room itself was solid – clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed.
“Stunning views with Tibetan flair”
Waking up to that view from the bedroom was amazing, and the Tibetan‑styled décor added a nice touch; the staff were friendly, the place was spotless, and having a washer on‑site was a big plus. The only quirk was the elevator only reaching the fourth floor, which is where the best views are.

Right in the middle of the ancient city buzz, the room was spotless and comfortable – exactly what you want after a day of exploring.

The hotel is literally a minute’s walk from the old town, and the room had everything I wanted – a heated bed for those chilly mountain nights, a humidifier, and a shower with strong pressure and hot water. The only downside was the early‑morning car horns from the busy road, though it was quiet once night fell.

The hotel sits just steps from the old town and let us pick between a quiet room or one with a view of the giant prayer wheel – we chose the view and got a spacious room with two comfy armchairs, hot showers, and a handy washer‑dryer combo. Daily fresh towels, tea and even a water bubbler at reception were thoughtful touches, though the carpet was stained and the windows could use a good clean, and the Wi‑Fi and heating didn’t work (we didn’t need them).
