“Séjour incroyable dans une magnifique maison décoré avec énormément de goût !”

Tout était génial, avec des attentions particulières dans chaque recoin. Prenez le temps de manger à la table d’hôtes pour passer une superbe soirée en compagnie d’Étienne et Didier. Chaque matin, nous avons passé plusieurs heures à discuter avec nos deux merveilleux hôtes autour d’un incroyable petit-déjeuner fait maison, à base de produits de l’habitation. Pour une première expérience dans une habitation, nous avons été agréablement surpris et aurions aimé y passer beaucoup plus de jours

We stayed at Habitation Caféière Samana Beauséjour and we absolutely disagree with a recent Swiss review. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, attentive, and clear. Rules exist, but they’re simple, logical, and consistent with the place’s environmental commitments—double‑labelled Clef Verte and Esprit Parc National. We came here for a different, more respectful, human experience, and the hosts took the time to explain everything transparently and kindly, which helped us feel right at home. Breakfast at the large table was a lovely shared moment with hosts and other travelers, a chance to exchange and build connections. It’s different from a typical hotel’s anonymity, but that’s the charm here. Overall, we had an authentic stay in an exceptional place run by passionate hosts who care about more than just a night’s sleep. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking meaning, humanity, and genuine environmental commitment. The only downside was leaving so soon—three nights wasn’t enough to soak up all the serenity, sunsets, conversations, and the sense of staying somewhere that matters. Thanks to the hosts for their involvement, sincerity, and generosity; we’ll return, but next time we’ll stay longer.

“Enttäuschende Erfahrung”

The inn sits nicely on a mountain, and the view is great. We booked the bungalow, which is very quiet and stylishly decorated. The whole property has a well‑kept garden with bananas and cacao trees. We were greeted unfriendly by the owner, who immediately explained strict rules that had to be followed as a guest. This continued throughout our stay, with the owner reacting irritably to every little thing, leaving us feeling unwelcome. The owners value frequent interaction with guests, which is evident in the shared breakfast table for everyone—a not‑everyone‑likes approach that should be mentioned in the description. For the comparatively high price, we expected more. Overall, a disappointment.
