“Run down and half ruin”

The staff were polite and welcoming, but the hotel only accepted cash even though the booking page said it took credit cards, which was a hassle for a foreign traveler who usually avoids ATM fees. The room felt cheap—I had to request soap and a towel, the bedsheets looked unclean, the sink water didn’t work, and there was no mirror or dustbin, which are basic necessities. At almost 3000 rupees, I’ve stayed in cleaner hotels for half that price.

The spot was great, but the rooms could have been nicer.

There was nothing worth praising. The room lacked a mirror, was not clean, and the chairs were damaged; when I complained, the manager said no alternative chairs were available. Noise from outside made it hard to sleep at night.

The name “Hotel O Rock Beachview” doesn’t appear anywhere. The room was tiny and poorly ventilated, and the TV didn’t work at all. After confirming the booking we couldn’t reach anyone because no phone number was given, so we couldn’t find out the location or what facilities were offered. The rate is high for what’s actually available, so it’s not worth it—better to skip this place.
