“Compassion.”
Erin was exceptionally helpful, making sure I could get vegetarian food by taking me to the supermarket on day one and bringing back vegetarian options on the day I was touring. When I left my walking stick in the car after the airport transfer, Erin made a special trip to return it before my flight departed. After 40 years of traveling worldwide and visiting every continent, I’ve never met anyone as kind as Erin to make sure I enjoyed my stay.
I stayed in a room with one double bed that was colourful and charming, overall clean and tidy, and cozy enough for a short stay; the owners were friendly and I’d stay there again. The bathroom was a bit cramped and small, and the towels weren’t soft, making it quite unpleasant to use after a shower.
“A comfortable stay and iconic experience”
Choosing the Underground Motel for the experience didn’t disappoint; the room was spacious, quiet, and had a nice seating area outside. It was a bit of a walk to find food, but after a day in the car it was good to stretch our legs. We’re getting too old for a double bed!
