“It was a disappointing weekend to say the least.”

Someone left a disgusting mess in the pool and hot tub area, pooping in the water, dropping filthy swimsuits, and creating a horrible odor that made the water look filthy; I told the night clerk but he said he could do nothing, and when I complained to the manager at checkout he became rude and started yelling at us—after staying at many hotels, this is the worst experience I've had, so I won't stay here again.

“Did not get much rest due to the fire alarm.”

The fire siren rang all night, so I didn't get much sleep.

“It was what we needed and clean.”

Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. When we tried to call the front desk to book a room, no one answered the first few times. The outdoor chairs were unstable and falling apart. We enjoyed sitting outside at night, but of the 8 chairs, only a couple were stable enough to use. We reported this to the front desk twice

The location is great—close to the river walk, restaurants, and major roads in and out.

“Great stay.”

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and having stayed at La Quinta hotels before, this was the best.
