The owners are absolutely wonderful – friendly and eager to help. The building itself is gorgeous, though it definitely needs a bit of updating; you can see they’ve already refreshed some of the rooms. Fingers crossed they keep the renovations going.

The spot is quiet and the room was still there when we arrived, even though we were on holiday and thought it might be cancelled. We managed to get a decent dinner that was surprisingly tasty, and the bed was comfortable enough for me. Communication was a pain because of the language gap, and on the second night a group of workers made a lot of noise around 1 am.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke, so if you’re a non‑smoker it’s probably not the best choice. On top of that, the staff didn’t speak any English, which made getting any help a real hassle.

Even though the hotel is part of a closed community, the front desk staff were surprisingly friendly. We only booked a single night on our way to Croatia, and the stay turned out to be pleasant enough.

It was pure chaos – we had to scramble and find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. Everything seemed disorganized, and the whole experience was just a mess.
