The surroundings are lovely, the pool is superb, the owners are very kind, and breakfast is decent without any frills, but the apartments need urgent refurbishment: one lacked mosquito nets while another had them poorly installed; there is no air conditioning, making summer nights difficult; the kitchen bell was broken and required immediate cleaning; one bathroom cistern was malfunctioning, another bathroom had a toilet and shower that were identical and lacked a shower curtain; some outlets didn’t work and others kept falling out.
