The campsite itself looks great, but the chalet was filthy with spider webs everywhere, moths, and a terrible cold‑smoke smell even though smoking is supposedly forbidden. The curtains were yellowed, which speaks for itself. Too bad.

With my dog we walked from the dike to the harbor, or quickly to the beach via a tunnel, and that route was really nice. The beach is great. The campsite is very quiet, and the staff always help when possible.

Very kid‑friendly, with an animation program, clean and quiet grounds. Plenty of play areas in the park itself. The beach is just around the corner. Good connections to public transport and other cities. The animation was great, but for non‑Dutch‑speaking kids it was sometimes hard to understand everything and interact.

Very tidy and well‑maintained park, friendly staff, and a beautiful setting within walking distance of the coast and the dunes. It was extremely hot in the high summer in the chalet, which unfortunately was not equipped with air‑conditioning. We couldn’t keep the dog in the chalet because the temperature rose above 30 °C, so we just took the dog everywhere… not great!
