The bed was very comfortable, and the homemade cakes, scones, etc., were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place felt cozy, and the fire in the café added a nice touch while enjoying the scones. The only issue was road noise; a quick trip to a shop for earplugs fixed it. I’d also like tea‑making facilities in the room.

The owner Monika was brilliant – really helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were quirky but clean and spacious. Location brilliant. Access to the room could be better, and some form of menu for breakfast would have been good.

Great location, lovely large comfortable room and bathroom. Monika and Tony made it a personal stay by taking time to chat with us and making us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely. No set format and great coffee
