Jorge’s history talks were a real highlight, and the coffee‑making workshops let us try a bunch of different brewing methods. Carolina walked us through the whole coffee‑growing process, and her explanations were clear and engaging. All in all, a fun, hands‑on experience that left us wanting more.

Carolina and Jorge were incredibly attentive, cooking every meal with ingredients they grow themselves—everything tasted amazing. They also gave us a fascinating tour of the finca, showing each step of the coffee process. It felt like staying with friends who truly care about what they serve.

Staying at La Gaviota felt like being back home, thanks to the warm, loving atmosphere. Mornings were filled with pure air, bird songs, and a landscape that seemed straight out of a postcard, while the food—simple, homemade, and made with care—was absolutely delicious.
