The room and kitchen were pretty, and the open spaces nearby were nice too. The room and bathroom felt a bit cramped, but still pretty.

The peace was great. We couldn’t get the Wi‑Fi to work on our phones.

Everything in the house was fine, and the warm, family‑like welcome from the staff was especially appreciated.

The terrace offered a view of the Teide summit, and the parking was right next to the building (in the courtyard). The village was very quiet at night. The ground‑floor holiday apartment to the left of the courtyard had no windows in the bedroom or attached bathroom, and ventilation came only through a hallway that opened onto the courtyard. The kitchen was poorly equipped. There was no proper entrance door to the apartment. The furniture was unattractive, old, and worn. The thin, uncomfortable mats on the terrace were a pain. The place was extremely noisy: every step and bathroom visit in the unit above could be heard. When neighbors smoked in the courtyard, the smell drifted into the apartment because the courtyard doors couldn’t be closed. The sea view was blocked by a wall. There was no hot water in the kitchen or guest WC. There was no heating, only an old portable heater in the living kitchen. The price of 100 € per night was far too high for all this.

Silence and calm are the main strengths of this place. The owner, who only speaks Spanish but is easy to get along with, prepared a welcome wine for us and waited at an unusual time for the property. Everything you need is on site. A private parking spot is a plus. Our room had no window, but for a short stay that’s not a problem. The hot water is very hot and the pressure is great. The view of the volcano is nice. The bedding, towels, and blankets are decorative and smell like chemicals, which is a bonus.
