My experience was terrible – I ended up in the hospital because something in the room gave me a severe rash, maybe dust mites, and I had to go to the emergency department in Aguazarcas; after that we were charged extra because they claimed breakfast wasn’t included even though it was booked, and the owner refused to help. We paid almost 38 000 colones, told them what happened, but they insisted the bedding was washed properly with soap, bar soap and baking soda, which was a disgrace.

The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean, and breakfast was great; it’s a simple hotel, not luxurious, but everything from the shower to the bed was fine.

We have no complaints because we only used it to sleep; Mr. Guard is very attentive and friendly.
