The décor was great, but the breakfast lacked variety.
The welcome was warm and the place was very quiet.

The hotel feels cozy, characterful, clean, and comfortable; owner Cristina is friendly, her dog is friendly too, and she offers generous local tips; we felt at home, enjoyed breakfast with fresh lemon‑juice from the garden tree; the spot is ideal on the edge of Puente Viesgo, within walking distance of everything (though the walk up to El Castillo cave is a bit steep); it’s a great pitstop to the Santander ferry terminal and a destination itself, and Posada del Rincon del Pas will always be our choice; nothing to dislike, though there’s no on‑site restaurant but nearby eateries are easy to find.
