The only bright spot was the hotel’s proximity to the Temple of The Tooth and the city center, and the helper was genuinely kind and helpful. The rooms were clean yet appeared dirty and grungy, as shown in the attached photos. Wifi coverage was spotty, so don’t expect reliable internet. The shower’s hot water took forever to heat, and the AC remote had all buttons removed, preventing you from setting a comfortable temperature. Black mold was visible on the walls. There are far better options in the area that offer better value. The listing photos were misleading, and the initial “excellent” rating I gave was actually given by the owner, who took my phone, rated the stay himself, and slipped me cash—something I never consented to.

The hotel is located in the city center, just a 10‑minute walk from popular tourist spots, and the staff’s service is outstanding. No complaints.
