The location was good, but the positives faded quickly. The hotel’s marketing, especially the pictures and services of the neighboring hotel, surprised us and caused disappointment, for example with the spa. We could check in early, so we avoided a huge reception line when we arrived. The room was noisy; the noise from other rooms carried through the whole night and kept us awake. The hotel was full of celebrants and families, and the children got a bit overwhelmed. The hotel was very restless and loud. None of our expectations were met or considered. The room was very cheap and the bed was hard, the pillows were worn. Breakfast was okay, but something was missing, like bread and pancake batter. The utensils and tables were dirty. The ice cream machine water wasn’t changed all morning, so the ice cream stayed in that cloudy, murky water that was collecting bacteria. The front desk staff never greeted us at the reception or breakfast, didn’t take any contact or even smile. The storage cabinets in the lobby were broken, so we had to put our belongings in an open back storage. I asked if there was a way to mark our items so nothing would be stolen, but the reception employee said it was fine, no need. In the lobby there was a crowd and a loud noise. The sofas were taken over by a drunken, affectionate group that frightened the child. I would not recommend the place except for its location.
