The curtain in the room hung down one side, the bedding was wrinkled, and the blankets and pillows were tossed in haphazardly; we preferred to drive home instead of staying, and we didn’t take photos.

The rooms were clean, but when we requested adjacent rooms we were denied; upon arrival we were the only guests in the entire hotel, which felt uncomfortable in a 40‑plus‑room building that wasn’t reflected in the photos, and the only outdoor area was a dirty balcony—luckily we found a local pool to relax and eat pizza, yet we felt cheated and misled.

The location is great, right on the Altmühl cycle path, but the hotel was closed, there was no staff on site, the rooms were dirty, and towels weren’t changed for five nights.

The place was absolutely terrible: four rooms, only three toilets working, pests everywhere, mold and broken showers, no hot water in any room, the photos were misleading and perhaps twenty years old; the staff wouldn’t help or compensate, so I can’t recommend it and I’m baffled why anyone would name this place.

The rooms were dirty, unkempt, and outdated, with used shower gel in the shower, dead bugs and mosquitoes, and everywhere full of spiders.
