We wanted rooms together but they couldn’t arrange it; I mentioned the door wouldn’t lock in the morning before I left, and it stayed unlocked all day until I spoke to another receptionist who sent someone to check it, so my room door was left unlocked the whole time I wasn’t around.

Being away from the town’s bustle was great; the patio and morning view were perfect for coffee, and the staff were excellent, treating us like family; the manager and his team always asked how things were, and we even met the owner and his mom—rare in a resort setting. No complaints.
