The spot is spot on, right in the city centre with parking right there, and the breakfast and dinner were solid. Walking to the main sights takes just a few minutes, and there’s nothing to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and the place is in a great spot. I would have liked a bit more privacy in the bathroom; the entire bar and dining area only has one toilet in the foyer.

The location is good and the breakfast is decent, even though the staff seem a bit overwhelmed. The spa, with its sauna and steam bath, is pretty nice. I booked based on the pictures that show freshly renovated rooms, but we ended up with a room that had 70s‑era furniture – see the photo comparison.

The hotel is close to the centre! On the morning of 14 OKTOBER 2026 at 9 h the breakfast buffet was almost empty and the staff couldn’t manage to restock it until 10 h because of a lackluster teamwork.

Excellent location in the centre of Garmisch and a short 15 min walk to the beautiful Partenkirchen. Room was excellent, fantastic views and a large balcony, spacious room and very clean. Shower was as good as they get and toilet was amazing, it was much more than a toilet, had all sorts of features for cleaning and drying your bits! Quiet at night, no sleep disturbances. Lively bar in the evenings with specialist beers and popular restaurant (although not our choice of food). Breakfast was good. Staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and very happy to help. Tables weren’t always wallet up for breakfast and we had to find staff to get a coffee but all very helpful
