The place had character and felt very authentic. However, the gluten‑free options were limited even after we had mentioned our needs beforehand.

The room was lovely, very roomy and had everything you could possibly need. We arrived early hoping to grab a drink or a bite at the bar before the 4 pm check‑in, but the bar, restaurant, and reception were all closed, so we had to wait in the car until 4 pm. The heating in the rooms also isn’t great.

“Authentic Loch Awe Experience with Excellent Food & Hospitality”

The staff were friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and high quality because many menu items are made in house. The location is a clear plus, sitting between Kilchurn Castle and St. Conan’s Kirk. I fully recommend staying at the inn for an authentic Loch Awe experience.

“Lovely inn with food - dog friendly”

The location near Loch Awe is beautiful and the place is well lit at night. The staff were very friendly, the accommodation is dog‑friendly with a restaurant/bar, and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The suite shower was spotless. Getting outside was easy, just down the stairs for the dog. The food options were good; the meals looked lovely. I had soup followed by another starter, both excellent. Breakfast choices were great, including a full Scottish breakfast with eggs; I had poached eggs that were perfectly cooked. It wasn’t busy because of the season, but the atmosphere was nice and other guests were friendly. I would stay again.

“Good place- not cheap”

The location is great and the room is a decent size. It wasn’t as cozy as I had hoped – there was a lot of wood and very few furnishings.
