The Family Room with Sea View opens onto a sea view, and it includes a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, a satellite‑channel TV and complimentary chocolate. Guests can choose either one large double bed or two single beds, and the room can accommodate two extra beds and one crib. The room is set up for two guests.

The spot was spot on and the facilities were nice, but the common areas were filthy and no vacuuming had happened for days, and the room felt a bit worn out.

The hotel was super friendly and gorgeous, with a beautiful room that looked out over the gardens and Thurlestone Rock; the staff were all incredibly helpful, the food was top‑class, and the outdoor and indoor pools plus the spa were great; I also loved the communal areas where I could relax, grab coffee, and enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace—everything was perfect! The Village Inn Pub, part of the hotel, offered fantastic food and a friendly vibe, becoming a real village hub; I also enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, which had a couple of short routes to choose from.

The facilities and breakfast were great, but the room was too hot and the bedding didn’t suit the weather.

The hotel is stunning in the village center, and my double room overlooked the gardens and Thurlestone Rock; the staff were super helpful and friendly, the food was fantastic—including room‑service dinner and a great breakfast selection—so I felt well taken care of and enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, the spa, and the comfortable communal areas for afternoon tea on the terrace or in the lounge; the Village Inn Pub also served excellent food and had a great atmosphere, truly the heart of the village; the short walk to the beaches offered a couple of routes to pick from, making it a lovely stay at a first‑rate hotel.
