We couldn’t choose a Western breakfast; only one group had that option. There was no coffee.

The location is great, it has a shop inside, the staff are very friendly, and there’s a view of the lake and Mt. Fuji.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were pleasant. Breakfast tasted good. However, the large bath area and the mat in the changing room were still wet, and used bath towels were left unattended.

The place is peaceful, near the lake and a bit away from tourist crowds. The only bedding was a winter‑weight doona, so we had to run the AC all night even though it was late autumn.
