The hotel’s location was great, but on the day of my check‑in at 13:39—just 21 minutes before the scheduled arrival—the host called to say a mistake had happened and the room I’d booked was already occupied. He offered me either a full refund or a transfer to another hotel. I chose the latter because the last‑minute notice left me with no other options and all other places would have been pricier. The alternate hotel, supplied by the host and close to the Cullinan, only let me check in at 16:02, and the checkout deadline was 11 h, which wasn’t extended. The replacement room was lower quality: the bed was a standard double instead of the king‑size advertised for the Cullinan. The host eventually refunded the price difference between the two stays.

Thought the coffee would be part of the price, but it wasn't. They let us in about an hour and a half after 2 pm, and then told us to leave at 11 pm. Not a great experience.
