Across from the large bath is the sea, but at check‑in the staff were absent, which made it a bit troublesome for foreigners.

The spa was a highlight, and an extra 150 Yen was a reasonable fee; the room was quite spacious by Japanese standards and impeccably clean. However, being greeted by robots felt impersonal, and I prefer face‑to‑face check‑in. The area is somewhat remote; a few hundred meters away is a mall with plenty to do, but the hotel itself feels a bit isolated.

The dinosaur at reception was cute and the system was easy to understand; the room was tidy and the foot massage was very helpful. The bath was relatively small, and the sauna especially cramped; the “quirky” factor didn’t meet my expectations and was only moderate.
