Good. Very central and very friendly staff. We had the private room right in front of the kitchen. Unfortunately, some people didn’t observe the quiet time (22:00) and only stopped the noisy conversations after a friendly reminder (after midnight).

The front desk gave excellent personal restaurant and activity suggestions, and I felt very welcomed. The ladies’ room was very clean and had powerful hair dryers compared to other hostels in Japan. It was handy to have a luggage storage inside the dormitory, so you don’t have to go to another room or floor to look for stuff.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, the bathrooms and showers were clean, and the location was great for exploring the city. However, the rooms were overcrowded, personal space was insufficient, and I practically slept on a wooden plank because the mattress was nonexistent. The price felt a bit high for sharing a room with so many people.

The staff were super nice and welcoming, and the bed was comfortable. Some guests ignored the clear rule of no loud speaking after 10 pm, but that isn’t the hostel’s fault. I still recommend this hostel!
