“Horrific. Unless you want to be paying for a chiropractor as the beds are horrendous - DO NOT STAY.”
I was so disappointed that the only thing I could say about this place was that I left it. The front‑desk lady had the warmth of a chocolate teapot, never even saying “good evening” or “hello,” just asking “what is your name?” without a single please. The bed was so bad that a week later I still have trouble sleeping and had to see a chiropractor to try to fix it. It was the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel, even though I travel a lot for work. Breakfast was a mess: the staff were friendly but more interested in chatting with each other than offering refills, and it seemed you could only have one cup of coffee or tea. I watched people go up the stairs to help themselves, while the staff just stared and kept talking. The location isn’t well signposted; you literally have to drive to the racecourse and then pass through gates, something the website never mentioned. All in all, the only good thing was that I got out of there.
