The location was convenient for my daily plans, the food in the bar was good and not expensive, but the stairs to the room were an issue; because of knee problems I couldn't shower as the room had a bath, and the toilet seat broke but was quickly fixed when I reported it.

The staff were friendly and always came over quickly to help. Breakfast was fantastic, with a nice staff member who delivered great service. The room was comfortable and the bedding and towels were very clean, though it had a slight musty smell that made me keep the door open to air it out. The window stayed open all the time. I found cobwebs and spiders, and some spots were dusty and a bit worn. The radiator made a clicking noise that woke me up at night. Overall the surfaces were clean enough for a comfortable stay, but a deep clean would be welcome.

We used this place as a convenient overnight stop on our way to the National Space Centre in Leicester. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed a decent pint at the pub, though we didn't eat there. The accommodation felt worn, yet the bed was comfy and clean. The radiators were a bit rusty, but that didn't bother us and the value was good. The navigation was a mess: both Waze and the link sent us to the wrong location, which was annoying at night. Google Maps eventually worked, but be warned if you book here you might not end up at the right place.

The bed was comfy and the room was a good size, making it perfect for the Victory Show. Staff were friendly and check‑in was straightforward. However, the toilet hadn't been flushed when we arrived, and there was no soap in the sink dispenser. The plumbing was extremely noisy, ruining sleep, and the radiators were rusty. The windows didn't shut easily, and the place overall looked tired and run down.

I didn't have breakfast, but the hotel is very convenient for me and I will use it again soon. I was quite content and found it very convenient.
