After driving more than 1,400 km I called the number listed for the place and was told straight away that they no longer rent anything. On top of that, I emailed the booking platform on 10 July 2026 asking for help, but nothing came – no response for twelve days and the money I’d paid never got returned. I’m left feeling let down by both the owner and the platform.

We arrived expecting two rooms for a short stop before heading to Croatia, only to find the address was wrong and the listed phone number told us the Bluebird property didn’t exist any more. The staff said the place had been renamed and now only rents apartments at about €300 a night. They sent a link to another provider with two rooms available, but those cost €150 each, far more than our original €156 total (breakfast included).

Instead of the exact apartment we’d booked, the owner offered us a spacious, well‑fitted unit with a lake view for the same price, and he supplied all the info we needed. Everything worked fine, so we’d gladly stay longer next time and recommend the place.
