“Excellent”
The kids complained about the noise coming from the pub and braai next door, but it didn't bother me. The place is beautiful, in a convenient spot, and the wimpy inside is something you have to try – definitely a must‑stay.
“Conveniently Located but not the best option available”
I liked the breakfast spread and the secure spot for our overland vehicle, and the beds were comfortable enough to sleep on. The hotel turned out to be a halal‑only property, something we weren’t told about, and the receptionist struggled with basic math and unclear English, so we had to ask other guests for directions.
“Good stay”
The host was genuinely welcoming and made us feel at home, but the parking space was far too tight for a larger car, making it a hassle to get in and out.
The rooms are sleek and tidy, which I liked, but the hotel sits right above a discotheque that plays music late into the night. When the music finally stops, a group of drunk patrons start laughing and shouting outside my door well into the early hours.
The place was easy to locate and right near everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. Our room was a good size and spotless. The downside was the bar next door – its music was audible in the room even after midnight – and the door lock wouldn’t stay shut.
