Just a 10‑minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe, close to Parc Monceau. The place really doesn’t care about special requests like an “anniversary.” At reception we were given a supposedly “upgraded” room and told we could drink anything from the minibar for free. When we entered, the minibar was a joke: three little cardboard juice boxes with a straw, like a discount store. Normally, when I stay abroad, rooms are stocked with real fruit juice bottles or a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate an anniversary. Here we got three tiny juice bricks. It wasn’t mandatory, but given the hotel’s price and level, it felt cheap. Breakfast was a drip‑feed: three croissants, and you had to ask again for more.
