The accommodation was well equipped and had a garden you could access. It's close to sightseeing spots and trails.
The host was warm and friendly. The dishwasher was broken.
The place sits right by Lake des Moines, which is great. But the apartment smelled bad when I walked in, it felt stuffy and not ventilated. The cleanliness was decent but not spotless, could be better. The second bed was actually two benches, not a proper double bed, which was disappointing. Overall I was quite let down and wouldn't recommend it.

The lakeside location was very pleasant and quiet. We booked it as a stopover and were mostly satisfied. However, the uneven steps leading to the toilet drove me crazy at night, and the kitchen equipment needs an update.
