The staff were very friendly, breakfast options featured farm‑grown produce, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet.

The location is wonderful and peaceful, close to Montemerano and the Saturnia hot springs. The buildings and grounds are beautiful with great potential, the staff are pleasant, and the bed is comfortable. It’s obvious that the hotel has seen better days. Although generally clean, many repairs are needed. Curtains are missing, paint is old, handrails are loose, and the grounds look somewhat neglected. Overall it feels like no one is really looking after the place or investing to keep it as it appears in the photos.

The walls inside the cottage are made of drywall and could use some improvement, but the location is great.
