We had a great stay with very friendly and helpful staff. We recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Urgench. The taxi we ordered charged us again; we thought the ride was paid by the hotel, but that’s fine—we still loved the stay.

The location right next to the airport is ideal. The room we first had was decent for a single night in size but too small for two large suitcases. There were a few stuffed animals on the top sheet, so I asked for a sheet change. A much larger room was offered as compensation, gorgeous, and we slept perfectly even though we had to get up early for the flight – it was fantastic! Plus a car was provided at night for my flight, the staff were very attentive and I thank them for that! Note that the top sheets aren’t replaced; there’s only one in a wardrobe, otherwise they’re just duvets. That’s common in many hotels in this part of the country.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel was spotless and well maintained, and it’s perfect if you have an early morning flight from Urgench or prefer to stay outside Khiva’s center.

The new hotel (or post‑renovation) gave us a room that nobody had stayed in before, so there were no cleanliness issues. The location is good, the staff excellent, and the breakfasts tasty. The downside of the new room is that it smelled strongly of new furniture, and the extractor fan worked poorly.
