The reception and breakfast rooms are beautiful, but it’s a pity the rooms differ in style from the breakfast and reception areas.

The location is excellent for getting straight into the center, and the breakfast is superbly prepared, but the place can’t control the noise from neighbors banging on doors, which is annoying at night.

The sheer grandeur of the location is the biggest highlight for me. The front‑desk staff were very friendly and helpful—excellent! The breakfast lady still has a lot to learn, and the breakfast itself left something to be desired. The room was clean and fine, but the traffic noise was noticeable, and there was no elevator—which fits the historic vibe of the building. The breakfast girl didn’t seem to grasp much; items just didn’t come out. For instance, yogurt was already gone, and even when I asked if there was more, it never arrived. Coffee ran out without her noticing, and we had to wait a while before it was refilled.

“Goed als je van Belle epoque houd !!”

The room is tidy, the staff friendly, and the breakfast is fine, but the TV can’t be seen from bed, the wide carpet causes allergy issues, the bed is too soft leading to back pain, and the coffee machine was uncooperative.

The room was very spacious and well‑equipped. The breakfast was on the plain side, and the buffet wasn’t replenished.
