Staying at this Onsen was a special experience that we will never forget; yes it is high cost but you get an incredible experience for that; the food was amazing and the rooms were great in a beautiful garden setting; the only thing we’d have liked was to go for a walk in nature.

I stayed at Kyo Yunohana Resort Suisen for one night; this is by far the fanciest place I have ever stayed at, and can dream of; I’m a fairly simple person, and this exceeded all my expectations tenfold; the staff were all incredibly friendly and polite; the rooms were very comfortable and spacious; the included walk‑in shower, soaps, shampoos, everything else that I’m not even sure what I would do with were fantastic; the private bath outside on your suite’s deck was very comfortable and pleasant; a stocked complimentary mini‑fridge and snacks in your room were a nice gesture; Chef Shinji Kobayashi’s food was incredible; best meals I have ever had; all in all, an amazing experience; highly recommended. Everything was perfect; I felt a little out of place because it was so nice.

Getting there from Kyoto Station was a breeze, and the place itself was calm and gorgeous; the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were tasty, and the private onsen tub in the room was a nice touch. There’s a room that can fit four people.
