“Tutto quasi splendido”

The property is truly a treat, detailed and very clean, with a fabulous location. However, there was no TV and the fridge was turned off.

“Falta de veracidad en los recursos del alojamiento”

The location and air conditioning were good. The ad listed a private parking space twice, which everyone assumes means a dedicated spot, but when we asked, the host said “private parking” referred to public paid parking (zone azul). Also, the kitchen had no frying pan, only two pots for boiling. The hair dryer was listed in the amenities, but my travel dryer is more powerful than the one provided. The listing claimed there were views, yet there are no windows—only two skylights at the top—so you can’t actually see anything.

The new, welcoming structure is very clean and well‑maintained, but it lacks a hair dryer.

Francesco was incredibly kind and always ready to help. The suite was gorgeous, right in the historic center of Galatina, surrounded by many nearby services and just a short walk from the Cathedral of San Paolo. It was spotless, fragrant, and had every comfort. Highly recommended.

The place feels intimate and welcoming, a sweet modern touch in a beautiful historic building overlooking the lovely Santa Caterina church. Its central spot makes it easy to reach the best sights in Salento. Kudos to the owner, attentive and helpful.
