The room was huge, and so was the bathroom, and the courtyard with peacocks was impressive; however the lady running the hotel didn’t speak English and, even though she provided Google Translate, communication was hard and her attitude seemed unprofessional. She didn’t explain anything, just showed us where the room was and seemed annoyed by our presence. The room had a bathtub but no stopper, so we improvised one, and when we started filling it the water stopped. We told her, she supposedly fixed it and said she would charge us less for the inconvenience, but minutes later the water cut out again when we showered. It was all very strange, and the place felt abandoned and hostile. I can’t understand the good reviews because it was a bad experience for us. We paid in cash for less than the booking price (because of the water issue). She marked us as no‑show on Booking, even though she told us she would cancel the reservation so we could pay less. I don’t understand anything.
