“Ein Albtraum...”
The accommodation was nicely decorated, but the initial delight quickly turned into disappointment and even despair. I had to cut my stay short because the massive noise from traffic outside the house was unbearable – countless motorcycles, cars, buses, groups of pedestrians, and the fact that the balcony doors apparently had no soundproofing made it impossible to sleep. Even the earplugs provided by the hotel beforehand couldn’t reduce the noise to an acceptable level. That was not all – visiting the balcony was painful; I walked barefoot twice over different nails that protruded far from the wooden floor (see photos). I had already cut my finger on the sharp edge of the balcony door latch. On top of that, the owner was uncooperative: when I called, he didn’t even listen to the problems with my stay, repeatedly interrupted me, and then suddenly was no longer on the line. I can only describe this behavior as repulsive, irresponsible, and shameful. The receptionist witnessed my call, as I made it in front of her. The reception is only open until 18:00. Thanks to the help of [name omitted], I was able to end my stay early and receive a refund for the unused nights.
