The location was great and the yurts were fantastic, with showers and toilets that worked well. The staff were friendly, but we did wish there were proper chairs and a table.

The yurt was clean, the bed comfy, and the shower and toilets were clean with good pressure and hot water. A co‑op opposite the campsite offers food, and overall everything was pretty much perfect.

The staff were lovely and helpful—they put me in the shadiest tent when it was hot, found bedding, offered a pump to adjust the air mattress, and recharged my phone. The washing facilities were good, with a great shower, and everyone was friendly. A co‑op sits right across the street and sheep graze next door, making it great value for money. Nothing else comes to mind.

The site sits peacefully on the edge of Hay‑on‑Wye, with bathrooms and shower units that are cleaned regularly. The staff were very friendly, and there are phone‑charging options at the welcome tent. The only downside is that it’s a good 20‑minute walk to the Hay Festival site, so you should plan ahead—though we turned that walk into a daily exercise routine and it wasn’t a problem.
