The pousada was well‑maintained and beautiful, with a great location. The hosts were friendly and courteous, giving good tips. Breakfast featured freshly made omelets, couscous, and tapioca, which was a significant highlight.

The facilities were very good, well organized, the room comfortable with good bedding and a decent shower; the owners were very polite and welcoming. The pool area was cozy and well maintained. For those who are scared, there are a few cats around, but I love them, so it was fine for me; they stay in their own corners and never get close. The coffee was good but plain, nothing special. We had a hiccup with the air conditioning: the control suddenly misconfigured itself during the night, set to a high temperature and we were left sweating; the next day it was fixed with great care. The location isn’t a strong point, but it’s not a problem either—when you’re in Preá you need to drive to get around.
