Breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff were absolutely kind and helpful. The room was very spacious and well equipped, and parking posed no problem. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi throughout the hotel didn’t work at all, which was a bit troublesome since we hadn’t expected that; the hotel is also about 4 km outside the city centre, so a car is needed for sightseeing. For our purposes this was not an issue, as we only stayed on the way through.

The bed and bathroom were fine, but the Wi‑Fi, breakfast and staff left something to be desired.

The staff were very attentive; I had planned to reach the hotel around 8 pm but because of terrible traffic I didn’t arrive until 2:30 am, and the team kindly let me stay until about 11:30 am‑12 pm, which I really appreciated. I had booked two rooms for the trip, and the one I shared with my son emitted a strong, unpleasant odor, whereas the rooms for my daughters and my wife smelled much nicer.

“4 Sterne - woher und wofür?”

Nothing much to say, sorry! Apart from one lady, almost all staff were unwilling to greet guests at any time of day or night. Breakfast offered only a cup of tea or coffee – no other drinks without an extra charge, such as for children. The terrace restaurant served only drinks; meals had to be taken inside, and guests were strongly reminded of this without further explanation. The hotel advertises 4 stars, but it’s hard to see where it earns that rating. After the first day, when we tried both breakfast and dinner, we voluntarily stopped eating at the hotel. I won’t book here again, sorry. Best regards.
