Very kind and helpful staff, good food, the room with a terrace overlooking the river in the main building with the restaurant was lovely, we’ll definitely come back sometime.

A great starting point for paddle trips, to the reservoir or cycling; Krumau, Budweis, Austria are close by. Even though it’s a tourist magnet, the evening boat rental area is surprisingly quiet. The countryside setting is very rural. We stayed in a four‑person room with a small roof terrace overlooking the Moldau, relaxed. It would be a bit tight for four people. The breakfast was good, but my wife didn’t like it: no proper rolls, no decent fruit, limited choices. Still, the coffee was good.
