I chose this place because of the rave reviews about Dona Heliana, the owner of the inn, and she lives up to the hype: she’s incredibly welcoming and makes you feel like you’re staying with a dear aunt. It’s a wonderful way to experience Minas Gerais hospitality. The location is superb, with parking and breakfast available. The bed was extremely comfortable. I liked everything.

We loved everything—Dona Heliana is a delightful person, attentive and very helpful, taking care of everything with great affection; we felt welcomed and as if we were at home, everything was perfect: cleanliness, organization, and a morning coffee made with much care and attention. The bed and bath linens were very fragrant, all clean and organized; when we return to Tiradentes we’ll definitely stay there again. Nothing was lacking; everything was perfect.
